Has anyone come across a Hive Tool made by Jakel in Germany? My mom brought one back from France for me and I can't figure out a couple of its features. It's basically a scraper tool with a beveled edge on one end and the hook on the other, but the outside edge of the hook is serraded and the beveled edge has something resembling a bottle opener (which is what everyone in my bee club indpendently decided it was, more specifically a beer bottle opener). Also, I'm a new-bee and wonder what the function of the right angle extension off the beveled edge of scrapers is anyway. I have a picture of this thing but I don't know how to attach it. Any suggestions or answers?
