I just put some new tires on my bee truck. I think these tires will probably get old and crack before the tread is gone. What's the best way to prevent this from happening? Keep them out of the sun? Will Armorall help?

Thanks,
Rob

Keeping them out of the bright sun will help. There is a product named RU GLIDE that is a liquid that looks like water, when applied to rubber products it is a lubricant and protector, I just threw away a pair of chest waders that were for fishing, the waders were over twenty five years old and the rubber lasted that long, coated them with a wet rag soaked in ru glide each time I put them away. It can be used on the weather trim of vehicles etc.
I can not remember when the last time I bought it but auto stores used to carry it.
Just paint or spray it on the tires a couple times a year will help.

And when they get near the end of their useful lives, have them retreaded! Save money and keep 'em out of the landfill. :D
