Mann Lake plastic frames/foundation ???

Mann Lake catalog has two kinds of plastic foundation. One is what I have bought a few of before and another has better reinforcements on the top bar where it hangs on the hive box. I do not currently have any plastic frames in service but had not had problems with breakage.

Anyone use plastic frames that has an opinion on the durabilty of them? Is it worth the extra money (not in my mind yet)?

Sorry Joe, all mine are Pierco. Looks like their brand is Rite-cell. It would be nice to know what their cell size is compared to Pierco.I decided a while back not to mix brands, so I guess I can't help you much on this one.

I've never actually used the frames much. I have a lot of rite cell (but not on the frames) and it's 5.4mm. Since I want 4.9mm or smaller that doesnt' work for me.
