What does anyone use to "treat" their top bars to minimize or ease the removal of propolis from top bars and super edges?

I have read Dave Cushman's Webpages where he uses a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil (alterative to vasoline [petroleum jelly]).

I have a local beekeeper that uses straight mineral oil.

What do you currently use, or what have you used and how has been your success or failures with it?

Thanks in advance for your replies,

JEFF

If anyone has any links to any online resources - those too would be greatly appreciated.

The only things I ever treat are things like a FWOF where I want to pull the tray out. Then I use vaseline.

I noticed some plastic strips you nail to the rabbet of the super or hive body. they looked pretty cheap, but I've not tried them.
