I'm just curious as to how many of you that used the Bee-O-Pac last year are doing it again this year!

If you are why? If you are not... why not?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

I used them last year, not this yr. The bees used them, I just don't like the size, weight or presentation. IMHO other types (cut and round) of comb honey seem to make a better consumer value.

I'm a returner, in part because I was not satisfied with MY performance last year. The order came somewhat later than I preferred, so the bees didn't have a good chance to really fill them up. They did a great job filling the middle compartments, then the honey flow ran out.

I like them because they sell real well at the farmers markets for $2.50 each. The sections that were filled sold well, but not all sections were filled. I had mine early this year and on the hives sooner. This year will be more equitable in my evaluation.

I won't be reordering. They sell well however we had a hard time getting the bees to fill them all up. Seem to have better luck with the rounds in Idaho big squares in ND.

I won't be reordering. I bought two sets from Betterbee, who hyped them as the greatest thing since sliced bread. Empty, they fit poorly in the super. (I guess that has been corrected, but what about all of us who put of $50 for a basically defective product?)

With a lot of work and modification of some supers, I finally got them on the hives. They got filled about 50%. When I reported that to Betterbee they replied 'Well, that is not too bad. We figure you should expect about 65%.' I told them I sure didn't see the 65% in the literature or ads and they replied 'it isn't there, but if someone asks us what to expect, that is what we tell them'! Buyer beware, huh!

With additudes and products like this I don't see how they stay in business!

Bunch of junk.
