I have owned one of these, they are made from modern materials I have contacted the guy and he has told me that he aquires them from US they are made in US. Also price has been reduced. No bees stings can ever penetrate the carbon material. Worth seeing:

I bought one of these from this guy,
It was not that expensive when it was all said and done. Great guy, he shipped right away. Fits great.
the neckline is not high so I worry when I am bending over my veil rides up exposing my neck.
Of course this could be me not putting the veil on right.
And the wrists are elastic, I then put surgical gloves on and they worked great.

I installed a swarm in a hive and I swore the bees tried to sting me through it but I didn't get any.
