Went out making splits with some new feeders. They would not fit into the box. They did barely fit into standard made brood boxes (but I expect it stresses the ends to take them in and out) but not in the homemade nuc boxes. Test these out before you buy in quantity. It is a change as I have bought from them before. Just an FYI.

I've never liked frame feeders. The best of them are from Brushy Mt made of wood and maybe masonite. They actually only take up one space and work pretty well, for a frame feeder.

But the bees feed even when temps. are to cold to exit. I find the bees take more syrup from a frame feeder than other feeders, and there is no robbing.

even more than from a baggy feeder? Much cheaper, in my opinion, and you can have these filled, packed in boxes and ready before heading out to the bee yard. The only thing is that you need empty supers to put over the top so the lid fits.

Joe,
If you are talking about division board feeders, I have used them for years. They work great.
I am converting over to hive top feeders because I can fill those easier.
The division board feeders that I use were purchased in the late 70s.
