Just for fun what type of frame grip do you use and do you like it.
I use a McCord and it works great on wood but not on Pierco.

I don't know what type mine are, but have one from Dadant and one from Betterbee--both different styles. I generally don't use them. But, for those bees that are a little more defensive and want to sting the hands when pulling out frames, I've found they come in real handy. The 5 inch space they provide between my hands and the frame make all the difference in the world.

I have three different types. The one like yours does not work on PC unless you want to mangle the cells along the top of the frame.
I have the stamped type that do fit the cells nicely and one with a flat screwdriver like prybar tool attached to the handle.
I will have to try to remember to dig them out of the tool box and actully use them one day.

That McCord looks like Kelley's; I have the one from Kelley & like it; use it most of the time. I just use wood frames tho.

I like the molded handles like the McCord. I don't like the rest at all. I use it on everything, PermaComb, wood etc.

McCord will put your name on them if you order 100 or more. They make them for Kelley.
