Is there any machine for making small numbers of honey sticks? I'm looking more for a way of making 100 or so, not 1000's. So I can't really justify the cost of such a large machine. Primarily I want them for samples, sometimes though the mail, so it must be small, lightweight and sealed.

I've thought filling a few with a syring like that used to inject a cooking turkey. But are there any good ways to seal the straw? Anyone tried one of those seal-a-meal bag sealers? Would they work on a straw?

How about using regular plastic drinking straws with melted beeswax in the ends.
