Any comments about Kelley's new Super Frame Popper? ('03 catalog, p 15)

I saw it and was planning on either making something like it or buying it. It wouldn't be that hard to make something like it out of a piece of wood. Never used one.

If it works true to its name, how mad will ten frames of bees be after being "popped"?
Is this something that could be a part of a "tool box" or work bench? Instead of another pc to carry to the hive.

I think the intent of the "popper" was to be used in the honey house when extracting. Just plop the box on the "popper" and it pushes all frames up for easy removal for uncapping. We have a home-made one that works about 75% of the time, but we still end up prying them apart once the are pushed upward as one big glued together unit. We run 9 frames without spacers, so maybe that is the problem.
