I am going to make Miller type feeders for all of my hives this year, but I don't know what to use besides beeswax to seal the joints. Is there a food grade caulk out there that I can use? What about the stuff that is used on fish tanks?
Thanks

I use fiberglass reson. You can find it in the automotive body repair at most large stores. I just build the feeder, leaving bare wood inside it. Then mix the reson as per directions and use a cheep clean paint brush (not foam) and coat the inside of the feeder and let dry for 2 days. Then check to make sure it is watertight before using. Mine are 2 years old and only one leeked but a new coat fixed it. I don't even use beeswax in the seams.

Actually, I use regular caulking. It is all going to get covered over with polyurethane anyway.
