Never heard of it. I am not fond of bee suits anyway. I wear a long sleeve shirt, (sometimes) or just a tee shirt, in the summertime. If I remove a swarm in a house, barn, or anyplace they can get real mad, I put on the suit I bought years ago, but I don't feel comfy in it. I usually don't wear gloves either. I got hit 10 times this year, and five of them, not even working on the hives!

Now I remember why I wear a suit. http://www.beesource.com/ubb/smile.gif I haven't heard of that one. I always wear a suit when there is any reason to believe the bees will be grumpy. If I hadn't had one this year when my bees turned vicious I would have been in real trouble.

I have two suits. One is canvas, the other is nylon. I admit I didn't think the nylon one would stop the stings, but I haven't been stung wearing it. I HAVE been stung through the canvas one when I was not wearing a shirt under it because of the heat. Both suits are very hot when working bees in the summer. I don't know of any that are not. Let me know if you find one that is cool. http://www.beesource.com/ubb/smile.gif

I've considered buying the Tyvek coveralls that are basically disposable, but it may be very hot to wear. The material is supposed to be impervious to bee stingers, and after a recent problem with angry bees in a new hive I acquired, I figure that it won't be any worse than wearing sweat pants under my present bee suit for the short time I usually wear it. They don't last nearly as long as a cloth suit, but at $9 dollars, it may be worth a try.

Hi all -

The Tyvek coveralls work well. I have one I keep with me as a spare if needed as it is fairly tattered now from use. I paid $5 for mine and it is very roomy, light weight and have not been stung through it. They can be hot as they don't breath as well as a cloth suit.

a frind of mine bought one of those suits and he likes it except for the fit. if i was ordering one i would sugest getting one a size larger than you think you need, my frind's is just a little short in the crotch and length, but he still uses it.and he said the man there in la. was rude to him also, so i guess he is just a little old grouch.
