i went to fog this morning and instead of putting out a beautiful blue plume of smoke my fogger sprayed hot oil that roasted a bunch of my bees!!! is this a clogged fogger prob.? it's a black and decker fogger i purchased less than a year ago. thank you.

Main issues are usually:
*Not allowing enough preheat time.
*Not holding the fogger level.
*Pumping too much oil.
Others may have answers to that specific brand.

I allow my fogger to preheat for 5 minutes then try a test fog before using it on a hive

I have a Burgess fogger and when I use mine I actually lean it back a little. If I lean it forward, I get the problem you're complaining of. I also found that the fog is much more dense when the reservoir is full. When it's getting toward empty, there's not as much fog and it has a tendency to sputter.

Sometimes it gets plugged and doesn't work as well. I drilled out the orifice on the valve to let more propane through and it worked much better.
Also, on a cold day I've seen more of the oil squriting instead of fogging.
