I have been reading the past postings and find that Crystal plus 70FG and Drakeol 35 are the prefered product. I understand the density requirements, but I am puzzled that the viscosities of these two products appear to be very different
Crystal 70FG has viscosity using SUS @ 100deg F is 70 yet Drakeol 35 viscosity using SUS @ 100deg F is 340/365 and
Crystal 70FG has viscosity using CST @ 40deg F is 12.32 and Drakeol 35 viscosity using CST @ 40deg F is 65.8/71.2 is the viscosity important or have I been spending too many hours reading about FGMO?

Hello folks.
I have tried to explain tha the most important aspect to be mindful about FGMO is DENSITY, that is the number of grams in one liter, (1000 mls of mineral oil) I have also stated this is pimportant becaue it is needed in order to figure out the strength of each one of the ingredients in a formula. Please check back a few posts and you will see the details that I posted about using the density of FGMO to figure out the strength of thymol in the FGMO-thymol emulsion., or for the FGMO-thymol solution for the fogger.
At present, there is no need to know any other aspect about FGMO, except the density.
Best regards and God bless.

Hello folks.
For the benefit of the newcomers:
It has been established through throrough research that the most suitable FGMO is one that has a density of 0.80 to 0.86. Also, it has been established that here are several sources of these types of oils, ex. given:
STE Oil in San Marcos Texas
Penreco Oil Co, Karns City Penna.
RE Johnson, Farmington Hills, MI
Your local butcher supplies store
your local drug store (Except, never use baby mineral oil that has perfune NOR Veterinary Mineral Oil.
Best regards,
