What about oxalic acid with the cords instead of thymol? Did Dr Rodriquez ever tried it or someone else. This is cheap, easily available, no odors, highly efficient and would not be dangerous included in cord emulsion (but would have to be done carefully while preparing it). Could probably be used all year round also even during winter.

Hi Norman
Since you mentioned it may be in order to experiment on your part and let us know the results.

I think that's the idea of the strips, but the cords would probably work well too. It would be interesting to know how well it works.

Hello folks.
I have always said that I welcome innovations by others with other substances. However, I prefer to work with known safe, non hazardous substances as is FGMO and thymol. I have tested FGMO/thymol and found it to be efficient, safe, cost-effective and easy to work with. I will continue to work with these two trying to improve what I have now. I do not have the time nor the resources to try other substances at present. Should the need arise, I promise to add it to my work program just like I have done with thymol.
I would like to hear from others who endeavor with other substances and wish to share their findings.
Best regards.
Dr. Rodriguez

This sounds like a dandy experiment.
