Is FGMO an approved treatment for honeybees in the US? I've been told that it must be labelled as such to follow the letter of the law. I've also heard that the approval process can be long and expensive. Please educate me on this aspect of FGMO, I'm in the dark.

Regards,

Stan

P.S. My bees are doing GREAT with FGMO.

FGMO is an inert ingredient that is approved as a food additive. Since it is inert (not chemically active) it does not require approval. IF it had active chemicals in it it would require testing and approval by the FDA (because it's in food) and or the USDA (because it's in an agricultural product) and or the EPA (because it's a pesticide) but it does not.
