Has anyone tried fogging with FGMO instead of smoking when working their hives?

I have applied 3 treatments of fogging and the bees seem to be docile enough to work. They appear to be more concerned with grooming instead of stinging. I have only opened the outer and inner covers and cleaned the bottom board cover, but haven't tried pulling frames.

Thank you

I was wondering if a can of PAM might work instead of smoke. I used some a couple of days ago because I wanted to see if it worked on the mites, and they were pretty docile.

Hello to all.
I have been using FGMO in the fog form for roughly 5 years and always have used some smoke along. I guess that it depends on the kind of bees tha one is working with. Here in Spain tha native bees would eat us alive if we did not smoke them. On the contrary I have
5 Russian origin bee hives that can work witho no smoke at all if I want to. I never put on a veil while working with them.
What Grumpy says is an excellent testimonial to the fact that FGMO does not irritate bees like some clain that it does.
Goes to show.
Best regards.
