hello Zeke
if you don't want to buy one try the library got lot of info there and on these boards==its all free.
but the best source of info is to buddy up with a older beekeeper follow him around and watch how to work a picture is worth a 1000 words but hands on is priceless

Hi Zeke: Re your search for Beekeepers Handbook. Have you tried Half.com? I check it when looking for specific books and have found some real bargains. Good luck. Karl

Zeke,

I just searched the title "The Beekeepers Handbook" on www.abebook.com. (http://www.abebook.com.) They list 37 copies by several authors for as little as $10. I buy used books thru this site often.

Barnes and Noble also has used books and they seem to have a large inventory. Dale
