View Full Version : Nucs or Bees

I would like to start 20 hives in the spring.

Ideally I'd love to just buy 20 established hives.

Failing that, I'd like to buy 20 5 frame nucs. I have nuc boxes I could put these in.

If I can't find nucs, I would settle for just buying 60 frames of brood and 20 frames of honey/pollen that I could put in my 5 frame nuc boxes and I could just buy the queens somewhere else.

Failing that I would settle for bees. I could just fill each nuc with bees and buy the queens seperately. I would like to pick them up and I would need these to be within 500 miles of Lincoln, Nebraska. The closer the better.

Anyone close with bees for sale?

Howdy Michael -

Nebraska is a ways from Texarkana, but if
it's not too far I can get you started with
20 strong colonies in new equipment for
$100 each. I also have a 4 frame extractor,
electric knife, and 300 lb tank.

$100 for an established hive in new equipment sounds great. Unfortunately you're a thousand miles from me. It may be the best offer I got though, but I'm hoping for something closer to home. Half that distance would be nice. http://www.beesource.com/ubb/smile.gif If I don't get a closer offer I may get back to you.

Pete,
I looked at the map that Yahoo gave me and I think it's a bogus route to Texarkana. I recalculated and I think it's only about 600 miles or so by a reasonable route. I emailed you but got no response. Perhaps it got lost in the spam? I am interested in the hives. Could you please email me. bush at inebraska dot com
