Hi Anybody else been fishin? My dad and I spent last sunday fishin for crappies on saratoga lake just north of Albany N.Y. A good day on the lake 50 crappies 2 pike and 12 bass. Sure beats mowing the lawn Dan

Wow! Your fishing is a little better than mine, but I've still had some pretty good luck this spring. The crappie fishing in central Iowa right now is great. Less bass, but the ones I have caught are running in the 3-4 pound range. Not huge by any means, but fun to catch.

My son caught a blue cat that was more than 50 inches long. Unfortunately no one, including the bait shop, had a scale that went over 50 lbs so they couldn't get an accurate weight. It was huge. They put the picture in the local paper.

personally haven't been fishing in over a year....its a shame...almost a sin, i love to fish but seems like here lately either working or raining here. Be great to get out on the water sometime soon......
