Any other airheads out there that care to share their love of the beemer? Here is my old bike. I sure miss it. Have an itching to buy it back again.

I have two R50/2, 1967. One is up and running very nicely, while the other is all apart ready to get back together again. Someday...
The one I use has two Denfeld (that's the name, right) seats, fairing and two side bags. I rolled it out of the barn about a month ago, kicked it twice and she started idling as if the Winter had not happened... During the summer she gets parked in the garage, and the car stays out...
Take care,
Alex

Greetings,
While driving, a yellow BMW passed me. It was a sport type bike with lots of chrome, torque and almost quiet. Very sharp! Nice.

This is the time of year when I miss my 91 Sportster. I put 21,000 miles on that thing. What memories!

My son and I went touring all the bike shops in town a couple of days ago.
Sure is some nice iron available.
I was quite surprised at the prices, not having been around bikes for sometime.
After seeing the Harleys advertised in the paper, I was also surprised to see how "reasonable" the sportster are. Or is it how expensive the imports are? :> )

I've got a '71 R60. Perhaps the "B" in BMW stands for Bee!
