well, remember the post started about polishing cell cups, since then i've grafted 2 times 120 each time, and now i have 210 cells so a little less then 90% turned out. i think rearing queens has got to be the funnest part of beekeeping other than taking off tons of honey or building them up for the flow....oh heck with it, it's all fun.

we also let the bees polish queen cell cups i think it makes a diferance. And yea raiseing queens is definatly a fun part of beekeeping i would think it is the most fun part but like you say it is all fun. Nick

I sure makes you feel like a proud papa when you see those babies have emerged and are laying.

I just grafted my first batch today. We'll see how many they accept in a few days. It went alright after the first 6 cells, I switched tools and kinda like the plastic tool from JBZ(???) better than the one from China. I might have gotten a few larva that were too old at first, but then started getting ones I could only see with the light, unless I looked real hard. I don't know, we'll see.....
