I know this has been brought up before but has anyone seen or bought or heard of a good grafting video? I bought the Nicot video and some other videos from Better Bee and to be honest, I did not think they were good at all. Anyone have any other recomendations?

I ordered the Nicot DVD from Beeworks. I don't know if this is the same one Betterbee sells or not. I got the impression from Beeworks that this was a video they produced. I'll compare notes with you when I get it.

I have the VHS, but I'm sure the DVD is the same video. It was very good. I got the one with all three methods on it, but you can get just the Nicot by itself.

Michael,
I got the one with the Nicot by itself. One question remains to be answered, however, and that is who produced it. Since you have the video, can you answer that?
I was digging through my old notes and found a message from Luc Noel in Belguim sent Aug 1996.
I added it under the other heading "Cupularve".

Produced the video? That would be David Eyre. The Nicot? I assumed someone named Nicot.

Michael,
I guess I wasn't too clear with my statement. The way Beeworks advertised the video, it left me with the impression that Beeworks had produced it.
The cupularve is made by Nicotplast in France. It is a sideline product with the owner of the company, who is a beekeeper. Nicotplast's main business is not the cupularve.
This 1996 e-mail has some background on the Jenter as well, including the name of the company in Germany that produced it.
What I have determined is that all of the graftless systems sold by Beeworks, Mann-Lake, Dadant and Betterbee are the Nicote Systems. Brushy Mountain sells the Jenter.

So Beeworks, Mann-Lake, Dadant and Betterbee are all the same system? They are just OEM's? I thought they were their own versions of it.

hey guys, theres i queen rearing video that includes grafting procedure (do-little method) from the extension service from the University of Minnesota. Its entitled "Succesful Queen Rearing Educational Package". It comes with a manual and an instructional video... is there anyone got hold of this? particularly the video... maybe you'd like to share it with us... post the video files perhaps... it sure would benefit everybody in the colony.... :)
