COULD YOU MAKE QUEENCUPS WITH WOODEN UTINSIL HANDLES ON END OF HANDLE BY DIPPING IN WATER THEN WAX THEN TWIST OFF WAX FOR CUPS OR DO CUPS HAVE TO BE EXACT SIZE

In Roger Morse's book he tell's of making them from a three-eights dowel,

I don't think it's a real exact thing, but they need to be close. I've seen a lot of descriptions of making them on the rounded end of a dowel also.

Droneman I think what your describing would work fine Ive used large pencils and even just dry branches with a tapered end and they were accepted.I would also give the bees a chance to clean the cups out before I graft into them.
