I can be used only once after all brood have emerged.

The result you will se after 3 days on bottom.

I have used only trickling against varroa for 4 years and result are more than good.

I have had varroa 20 years.

Those vaporizing say you can do it three or four times with no harm. Those dribbling say you can only do it once.

Here's some discussion:

so far the answer to your question has been no.

I assume you mean mites. No. I see no reason to expect them to.

Can mites become resistant to oxalic acid? Sure. No reason why they couldn't.

But, so far, Varroa are not showing resistance to OA. Still, a big difference lies between, "Varroa aren't resistant to OA yet," and "Varroa can not become resistant to OA."

>"Varroa aren't resistant to OA yet," and "Varroa can not become resistant to OA."

Try a search, there are thousands of pages of discussion on this. But how do you get resitant to acid? Never mind. Pretend I never asked that.

I was thinking along those lines too. If you give them to much chances are the bees will die.

You can't be resistant to acid.

I knew a couple of guys in the 70s that said they had to increase their dose of acid to get the right buzz.. smile.gif
