I bought Check Mite II to use for shb. Will the same procedure for shb have any effect on Varro?

The product I bought is Check Mite +. Sometimes my brain and fingers don't follow the same path.

It will likely have some effect on the Varroa, but since it is not applied the same way (in the brood nest) it won't have the same amount of contact with the bees. Plus you use fewerer strips with shb and bees only can contact one side of the strip. So while it may have some effect, I wouldn't depend on it for Varroa treatment.
I also should add some Varroa is now resistant to Check Mite so It's wise to monitor and adjust your Varroa treatment accordingly.
