How long does api-life last in the comb.The reason that I'm asking is that the fall flow is here and just now the girls have started drawing out comb.I'm hoping to checkerboard next spring and I need some drawn out comb to do it.What I need to know is can I use the comb next year to make honey for consumption.The honey they're making right now will be fed back to the bees next spring.I have to treat right now my 24hr mite count is 50+.This is A first year package and I don't want to lose it.THANKS FOR ANY IMPUT
