I have two deeps and two honey supers on one hive. The honey supers have honey which is not filled out totally or capped. I want to treat with Mite Away. What should I do with the supers? Put them under the second deep to see if they move the honey up and then treat?

Pull them off. Treat. Put them back on. Or don't treat. What are you mite counts?

The bee inspector said I don't have any. But I'm not too sure his method was accurate. He opens a few drone cells to look at.

If I pull the honey supers off, how should I store them so moths don't get in before I return the supers?

That just means it was below detectable levels.

Try a sugar shake if you like. I wouldn't treat if you don't need to.

What are you going to treat with? If you use something that you do it and your done like Oxalic acid vapor or powdered sugar, then If you put the supers in your house or (better yet) the freezer, they will keep that long. If you are going to do Apistan (which the mites have widespread resistance to) or Check mite (which the mites have resistance in some places) then you'll have to find a way to keep them longer or go ahead and harvest them.
