Screen Bottom Boards for Powder Sugar and Mite Control

We have been making these boards and selling them to Beekeeping Stores and club members here in Northern California for the last 6 weeks. The response has been incredible. If you make them yourselves, make sure to leave a wide space to remove the powder sugar and to easily observe mites that you trap. If the space is too tight, the sugar and mites scrape off into the hive.

Thank you so much, we are so excited about these boards and we have had so much positive feed back. Combined with the powder sugar, we have no more mites this spring. We will monitor through the summer and use powder sugar in the late summer and try for the first time to bring our hives through the winter without any chemical treatments.
