View Full Version : This is very embarasing but please help!
Hello. I have a phobia of bees. I was stung by a few when i was young because i went near a hive to get a ball. Go figure :rolleyes: Anyways... i was sleeping in my room with my door closed and when i woke up a saw a bee crashing into my window repeatidly. Yeah not to smart. My balcony door was open. Eventually it started flying around so i jet back to my room. The idiot came near my door i think crashed again, now is probably flying around my apartment. Guys im terrified of bees. I dont know what to do. Knowing how dumb some insects are he probably still hasnt left, meanwhile the balcony door is only a couple feet away from the window. Now im sitting here in my room with my dog and spray bottle Pin-Sol. What do i do.
Chances are what you encountered was not a bee but more likely a hornet or wasp. What ever it was it could care less about stinging you (unless you try and spray it with pine sol). Most people would do the smart thing and open the door so it could fly out. Boy those insects sure are dumb!

Do you have a can of hairspray? Spray it down with hairspray, and it will stiffen up so it can't fly.
Its ok it left. The door was open the whole time. And it was a bee. God i hate bees. I just wanna move to the moon where there are no bugs. Useless creatures...i dont need honey LOL :D

Odd, with 25 to 30 hives in my backyard I seldom find a honey bee in my house. It's always those yellow paper wasps.
I bet he didn't get stung by a "bee" as a child either. :cool:

I heard most of the Americans have a gun in their house. The next time you find an ugly bee crashing into your window take your shotgun and kill the idiot.

Hate bees??? 2/3rd ( I think that is the right percentage) of everything you eat is affected by bees in one way or another.
I wouldn't trust them w/a shotgun they'd prob. point the wrong end at the 'insect' and shoot themselves in the foot. :rolleyes:

maybe someone with a lot of time on their hands....there are some who like pulling the wool over other people's eyes. could it be a beekeeper who is trying to dupe everyone? :rolleyes: naw, that's not possible....
I have a bee in my house... Whats the first thing I do ...run to my computer register on a web site devoted to bee keepers and ask what to do.
Help quickly find a firefighter forum and register NOW ...just in case!!!!!

Hi Guys,
I'll take the bait. I find it quite amusing that a terrified person has time to boot up, search for a bee group, register, post a message and wait two hours in the gravest danger for a reply!!!
Could this be a hoax?
Either way this experience tells the same story. I think someone needs to get off the computer and get a life.

I live in a Flood zone... The river is flooded and the water has consumed the first two floors of my house. I'm in the 3rd floor storage area and the water is creeping in. However, I have a bee in the room. I'm terrified of bees! So, I fired up generator so I could get the computer on line and I was wondering what I should do about this useless critter in my storage room, the only room in my house the water from the flood hasn't consumed.... I hate bees! Someone help! smile.gif
