Kenyan Top Bar Hives and their use in pest management

Just a general question to stir up some conversation, and also a genuine request for people's experiences.

What do you all who have tried top bar hive think about their use in relation to pest management?

My methods are fogging with FGMO, which I do through the screened bottom board (you may not have one on your TBH or you might) and natural cell size. So it's not that big of a deal to me. But you could put apistan strips betweeen the bars.

Actually I meant using Top Bar Hives as part of the focus of pest management as opposed to using things like chemicals.
