swarm lure placement

I have a little queen pheromone in a plastic vial and I'm hoping someone can tell me what is the best way to place it in a swarm trap. thanks. Also, how effective is the lure in attracting swarms?

Swarm lures can be quite effective. Most are placed into swarm traps by drilling a hole and simmply pushing the swarm lure in the hole until it hangs down into the cavity of the swarm trap. Many time two swarm lures are used in tandem.

For placement into bait boxes (old wooden supers with wooden top for lids, the lures are merely stapled onto the wood, centered over the cavity where the swarm is intended to go.
