missed swarm

Last week a buddy said he was seeing bees coming and going from the edge of his chimney, not alot, but steady. I said I would come check it out and see if we could get them out. Apparently, these were scouts. Last night he called and said there was a swarm on a small tree in his yard. By eight this morning they were all in the siding. Now I have to see if we can get them out, or have to kill them before they make a mess.

Well, I was wrong. He had two different swarms apparently. The first 2-3 weeks ago setup housekeeping in the chimney itself, between the brick and the liner. The second, yesterday, setup in the siding where it butts the chimney, about 8 feet below the others. No good way to get to either. I guees I need a swarm trap in his yard.
