I was contacted to remove some bees from an old brick building where the bees have found a small entrance hole and I suspect are building in the cavity of the cinder blocks behind the red brick facade.
I know that I have to place a hive of bees nearby so that the other bees will go into it and become part of the other hive since they cannot enter their hive.

The location of the hole is at least 30 feet up.
The roof is behind a front facade wall that extends about 10 feet up from the hole.

Essentially the bees will have to fly up from the cone about 6 feet to get over the front wall and then go down to the hive on the roof top another 8-10 feet.

Is this feasable or is there a better way without making holes and destroying the brick?

thanks,
Jason

I do not think they will find it.
I have extracted about 20 so far this year and will give you some ideas if you will PM me your phone number. It is just too long to type it all when I don't know the details and would have to include a lot of useless info with it. Each and every case is different.

Try a fire ladder (pipes and chains) over the ledge and secure your bait hive to that.
