Do these programs effect bees directly? I know the county health department keeps a list of beekeepers and has no spray areas around them.
If you live, or have a bee yard along a spray route, you might call the locals and get listed.

It affects just about everything insect, and some people as well. I've heard reports from Jersey that when they sprayed down there a few years ago that they didn't have any insects for a year or so. Killed all the butterflies, moths, ect, ect, ect. I hope they made their no-spray zones big enough.
