How would I go about building a nuc?

Look back in the section of the website that has the plans for building such beehive hardware.
ahah not the plans, I mean the colony itself. Like, what frames? frame of brood and...?

A nuc is a nucleus. That means it needs everything that goes in the hvie. Honey, pollen, open brood, capped brood. Put the brood together and the honey and pollen on the outsides.

so Q a nuc can actually be of any size from a baby nuc (which is generally intended to get a queen mated) to a full fledged single story split. the idea is to extend only enough resources (bees, brood, feed) to get the job done.
