I am a young beekeeper with 2 years expirience I am looking to gain valuable expirence on a commercial level. I want to become a commercial beekeeper but right now i lack the expirence and the know how. A young Beekeepers that is very rare, the average age I hear is about 60. I can't help on the commerical side. Good luck on your venture.

First thing get a CDL Class B driver's license, You will need it to drive some of the trucks that commericial beekeeper's use, then contact:
Dave Mendez (239) 340-0625. He has a large pollination outfit that runs from South Florida, to Maine, and he is looking for help.

Are you looking to become a commercial operator overnight or do you want to grow into it? If you aren't in a hurry just start splitting and learning. Although working for one of the commercial guys would probably be invaluable. I wish I could take a year off and work for one.
