Bees are loud this morning

I was just out in the yard screening a hive (now 5:00) for a 7:00 move and it sounded almost like a collection of engines being revved. Yesterday was a great day for the bees - the 2nd in a row - and today is looking good too. Temp now is in the mid 50s - is expected to be close to 80 by the afternoon. There's a flow just starting.

This hive is being loaned to a good friend of my wife's for the summer - I'll get my son up in about an hour and he'll help me move it for which I'll pay him with a stop at the local bakery.

Good luck with the move. I might consider getting them supered up and maybe checking for queencells as higher than normal buzzing could indicate possible swarming soon.
