Hi:
This is primarly for beekeepers in the mid south (NC,SC,GA etc).
Would you expect to see brood in the comb under the cluster? We are having a unsual winter mid 20's morning to low 60's in the afternoon and temps all in between.

Bees this time of year tend to start and stop brood rearing. In other words they will raise a patch of brood, then move the cluster and then raise another patch of brood. So you may find them with brood or not.
