I was wondering if anyone would have any old bee pictures that they would share. I am looking for photos from the late 1800's if possible. Any pics would be appreciated though. These will be used for a poster board for some of the festivals that we do. Thanks.

Hit ebay and look for old bee mags. You may also find some old photos on there.

Wow everyone these photos are fantastic! Frank and Sheri,love your Grandma and the skyscraper colony...and I thought my colonies were tall!

I remember her as a crusty old lady who seldom smiled. It is by far my favorite picture of her even if you can't see her very well. Sure wish I could talk bees with her now. smile.gif

I love these pictures. Basic question - when does copyright on pictures like these expire? I'd love to use old illustrations of equipment and beekeeping for some things I'm working on but I don't want to run afoul of copyright law.
