i'm in ca and researching what i need to do to leagaly sell personally produced honey from home and the certified farmers market. i've got information about containers and labeling but nothing on "honey house" requirements. thanks:)

Wouldn't have to be a separate facility--as long as your kitchen is sanitary. Health officials may want//you may want--them to certify your set up as being in compliance. Kinda like a restaurant kitchen--health issues.

There are no restrictons on home packed honey. YOu biggest mistake would be contacting the health department.

The wife will respect your cleaning up afterwards. I currently live in my honey house, with my wife. Someday, when I finish building the big house, she'll have a kitchen of her own.
