little bee

I checked one of my hives a day ago and I saw a little bee running around on a frame. This bee was about half the size of the other workers but had all the same markings. I looked around but could only find that one . Any idea of what it could have been???
If I see any more I'll take a picture.

Just a newly emerged bee that came from a smaller than typical cell. The more natural comb you have the more you see this. They are about half the volume of a full sized (large cell) field bee.
