View Full Version : Water for Bees
I posted these pictures down in the Biological forum, but thought some would be interested that might not venture down there - Brush Mountain sells Eli's Bee Aquifers, but there's no picture. Here are two pix to show what they're all about. I've got three of them placed in an arc about 20' out from our two hives.

It looks a bit goofy but so far this year it has kept the bees out of our swimming pool. They are actually using it. The foam pinapple rings support a fine mesh the allows the bees to drink without going swimming. In 2 weeks only two have managed to drown themsevles. When the legally blond types of the hive have been going to the swimming pool I was getting a dozen drownings a day... not to speak of the nervous wife when she was in the pool.
I'm going to order another soon.
