I live in East Texas and was wondering what to expect as far as a Fall honey flow. Last year I only had one hive (out of 6) to produce any fall honey. Amzingly they drew all the comb out and filled and capped it in only 1 week. Is this typical of what I should see from a good hive in the fall?

I'm not in Texas, but from what I've seen in other parts of the country I'd say you never know what to expect. You might get a lot or a little depending on the rain and the weather. But I would suppose the first frost would be pushed back far enough to make it a little more reliable than here.
Most years I see a very good fall flow. It usually comes fairly late, end of September right on through the first freeze. This year is extremely dry. If we don't see some significant rain soon, it's going to be a tough fall. I'm feeding heavily right now.

I'm feeding heavily right now as well and they seem to be putting it to good use. I took a peek yesterday and saw plenty of new wax being drawn out.
Yes Heartbeat I know about the meetings. I'd like to go but just haven't ever been able to becasue of my work schedule. Thanks.

depends on where you go. most winter in e.tx.
generally 1000-3000/ac on 50-300 ac tracts. some more, some less. you might look for ads in local papers or thrifty nickle. might try texaslands.com, also.
