I've been asked to remove a swarm that moved into a wall 2 days ago. I was told that it can be done with OFF bug spray. Drive them out with the spray rather then get out the impilements of distructuin[sawsall and pry bars] . Has any one done this and did it work, also how much and were to spray Thanks Dan

Bees can careless OFF will not work.... I have tryed it. I'm going to try Moth Ball next time... I have a hive thats been going for years and I want the Queen not just move the hive... so I have left them alone tell now.

I have never tried driving them out. Fischer's bee quick would be a much better bet than off. Bullseye Bill has been using the Paramoth (PDB) crystals. That sounds like a much better bet than off. Off is made to repel mosquitoes, not bees.

IMHO use the implements of destruction, it will be quicker and alot less frustrating. ;) And you'll get it all, wax, brood, honey, clean up will also be easier.
The brood comb and bees are critical, waiting for them to leave will put the hive 'behind' in developing, that is just my opinion, and I'm no expert. :D
