How far?

I can't remember how many feet you can move a hive at a time. I just want to move it about 12 feet.

Any distance is doable. Place a branch in front of the entrance after the move and they will re-orientate right away. If its miles then the branch is not needed. I move mine in the very early morning, or very late evening (when you can hardly see). I like mornings myseld cuz it is cooler then for me.
