Honeyboy

I have about 50 wintered colonies and have been checking them and they seem to bee developing slowly. I have a bank of queens coming in the third week of May and at this point I dont think I will be doing any splits. They are wrapped up outside in doubles. I have cleaned out most of the dead ones and was wondering if I should be knocking the live ones to a single and remove the wintered wrap? I got 10 packages last week and they seem to be stronger than my wintered colonies. Should I totally disassemble the wintered colonies and clean out all the bees that perished over the winter or leave things alone. I have fed them a frame of syrup and a pollen patty. The boxes seem to still have a decent amount of honey from last year. Temps over here are daytime highs of 10-14 celcius and lows are around 0-3 celcius.
