Yesterday I was helping a friend install a nuc and a bee crawled up my leg. Before I could get my pants off, I got stung. It was on the back of my thigh. This one swole up to about 8" across. This morning when I got up it was hard. What's up with that? Wish now I would have put some plantain on it, but I was busy. That'll teach me.

Is it your first sting of the year?? Often they are the worst. Prepare for itching around the corner...

Benadryl cream combined with benadryl orally will help swelling and itching.

Yep, first sting this year. I'm sure it won't be the last. The itching is what drives me crazy. Will try the benedryl cream. Took benedryl last night, but can't take it during the day. Makes me too sleepy.
