It seems that bees are probably consistent in their behavior and activity. As we are facing a series of days where the temps are up in the mid-40s and mid-50s I was wondering if there was a table or other general set of guidelines for what bee activity could be "expected" based on the temperature.

Like long term activity like brood rearing? Or short term activity like foraging?

I see mine flying in the mid 40s but the Italians I used to have never seemed to fly until at least 50. They will move around and feed more if it's warmer and less if it's colder. They will rearrange stores if it's warmer and not if it's colder. Probably the 40s is what it takes to start rearranging stores.

The commercial keeper I drove for always said the italians start flying at 43 degrees. I don't know where he got his info.
