Anybody going? Anyone know if crawdad's are in season in October? I'm dying for some ettoufe!

My mom makes the best ettoufe! Man do I miss the food in south Louisiana. And yes you can get crawfish in October! If memory serves me, the shell is thicker; therefore, a bit harder to peel. Most people think Louisiana food is hot. It is better to describe it as well seasoned. Dcross are you thinking of going?
